Being STILL....

As I inhaled the word of God this morning it struck me that God does provide exceeding, abundantly over everything and anything any of us could ever imagine. Again, how promising and alive the word of God is. Yet I still find myself analyzing over every little thing. As I rummaged through some of my books that I didn’t pack up I managed to get my hands on the book, How to read the Bible for all it’s Worth. This little book is packed full of great information and facts but there are so many interpretations, so many denominations, and so many different translations that…..“Chasing my tail” comes pretty natural to me. Instead of using the peaceful words of being still and knowing that I am God I run in circles digging and searching out endless names of who, what, when, where and why. God will provide me with all these questions; my realization is that it takes lots of studying, spending time in prayer, devotions and just reading the word of God. More than that, it comes with having an intimate relationship with God and being still in His presence.

Not sure what I’m trying to say but I found it quiet humorous that in all that digging and searching this morning, I got from Him to, JUST……….BE STILL!!
